I reset the modem & now it works fine. I still do get disconnected every once in a while though.

I was getting disconnected from my wireless a LOT...until i realized that my damn cordless house phone is operating on the 2.4ghz frequency...and so was my router. I simply switched the router settings to operate on 2.7ghz
duh. LoL

I set the router to run on channel 11 which seems to help I changed the frequency of the phone in my room but the phone in the living room cant be changed.

Have you power cycled all of your network components (including your computer)?
Yes before I reset the modem I did that. I still have no clue why I'm getting disconnected though. Sometimes its like 3 times in a row and sometimes it has like an hour gap.
