We're looking at a revision for Rep at the moment. Bucko doesn't have the last Rep box. No-one has the last rep box.

Since when were you a duck?

As for rep, it's people's decision to how they give out rep.

I agree re rep - on the whole - one thing I find mildly offensive though is when someone leaves negative rep combined with an insult and doesn't sign their name - it's happened to me twice. We Brits see that sort of thing as "bad form".

Whenever I give rep +ve or -ve, I give a reason and sign it. I'm not afraid of being seen to do what I do.

I'd appreciate your thoughts on that.

Wait...Bucko, it looks like you do now have the last Rep box. However, your rep still isn't maxed. :p

this is my first ever forum that i've actually stayed on and post every day or so. wehn i first found out about the rep system i turned into a rep hore, i think i still am a bit. but the way i get it is helping, or trying to help so i think thats the good part the rep system. as for post counts i've never started or will a thread just to say the fact that i've gotten that many posts. i will however edit my post and say YA! 1000posts or something along those lines. as long as you don't start a thread or make a new post i don't see the harm in saying that. but like Mal said only do it ever 1000 posts. just my 2cents.

I haven't really have had neg rep, however I've had rep where it's a mystery who has given it to me. It's rather annoying, but it's their choice not to leave their name.

However regarding neg rep, it once again comes down to the individual (almost wrote induhvidual) who gives the rep, they may not want to give out who they are, or don't want to leave a trace incase you neg rep them back. There are those who forget to put their name xP. I don't believe I haven't neg repped anyone yet.

As for making threads about post counts, it's kinda silly.... but sometimes it brings up a random topic for discussion, it's not something I do.

As for bad form, it's best to see your chiropractor for that!
