    Default cooling grahics

    what is the best way of cooling my readion 9800 pro. note im on a buget and dont have much modding skill.

    On a budget you say....hmmm....OK, I'd go get yourself a big chunk of dry ice and stick it directly on the GPU. You'll have to check it often and it won't last more than a few minutes but it will be really cold for that time. You should probably cut it into rectangular rods the size of your GPU and rig up a stand so that as the dry ice sublimates, it will keep the rest of the rod on top of the GPU.

    open up your case and aim a fan directly at it.

    dont be meen. the antic VGA Coolers r the chepest cooler that i know and there good for the money. i have a thermaltake Giant III and it works good with my big fans .

    LoL, that's original :p ! Yeah, other than getting an NV Silencer, you could get a tube of Artic Silver and apply that to the bottom of the heatsink. And keep the stock HSF clean of dust and stuff

    thats where i got my idea for my fans .

    lol. wasn't being mean intentionally. but if your desparate and have no budget, it works. specially if you accidentally spill a liter of soda on it, the fan helps dry out your components before you turn the machine on.

    thats ok, but it would be better to get a cooler directly on the card. Zalman has a couple of good vga coolers.
