I would say CPUZ but you run Linux so that won't work.

I don't think there is a program for Linux.

And I've tried running CPUZ in WINE.
    I just get this error:
"A previous version of the device driver is already running."
    so that's a no-go.

Right. rebooting now to check BIOS.
I'll let you know when I get back.

    EDIT:

    Code:
    DRAM Clock: DDR 400
    CAS Latency Time: 3
    Min RAS# Active Time: 8T
    RAS# to CAS# Delay: 3T
    RAS# Precharge Time: 3T
Make of that what you will.

    3m 21.344s
    Edit: no overclocking

    Edit 2 : I can get it down to 3m 07 with OC'ed CPU

top tip: Assign every other running process to the core you are not running superPi on

@Exley when you run SuperPi it will only put load onto one core
So if you have a quad core then to put the CPU under full load you should run 4 SuperPi's.
When you say it crashes that does sound strange.
Are you running it it from the same .exe? You should have two .exe's in seperate folders

Ill update that list now with CB's and Helix's scores.

    wow im still second

Actually Super Pi will run over multiple cores unless you tell it to.

When I get home from uni, I'll post a guide on the front page to tell you how to optimise your score by a few seconds.

The difference between vista and XP on a 1M run (I've tested this) is about 0.5s. I'll test how much difference between the 2 on 4M runs tonight.

CB, could you please create a small thumbnail to use so it doesn't stretch the page, but we can still view the full sized one?

EDIT: Scotty, my desktop owns your laptop . And I already know who will beat my time, I'm waiting for them to post their time.

Also CB, please provide a screenshot of your OC Super Pi run.

EDIT2: Adding programs like CPU-Z for linux on the front page.

I ran it on my 3.06Ghz Celeron D. Don't try that while surfing forums on one screen and watching TV on the second monitor. It took 16 minutes to do the 4M Super Pi....
