Thanks guys, hopefully I'll have another update soon. I think I'll be able to get some work on this done tonight, hopefully wrapping up the side panel.

Yes! One step closer to completion. I have just placed my order for an EVGA 8800GT Superclocked (with ET:QW ). Only remaining parts I need to order: GPU waterblock (maybe MCW60, maybe EK's new 8800GT block) and some fans. Then, I just need to cut, paint, sand, file, and all that good stuff. Our Christmas break is starting this weekend, so expect some updates in the coming week.

The MCW-60 is a great block, I will be using it on my 8800GTX. It beats the Danger Den full coverage block by 1-2*c on an old 8800GTS and is still $100AUD cheaper even after buying the G80 adapter plate and the extra RAM sinks and Mosphet sinks.

After buying everything I'll need though (the 8800 RAM sinks, MCW60) it's only about $30 cheaper. But, I think I might go that route, because I don't know if the EK block will get in the way of my South bridge block. The only part of the MCW60 that would would be a RAMsink.

Man am I pumped for this though. I've been waiting to use all my new stuff for the end of this mod, but this is one thing that I WON'T be waiting to use. Deffo going straight into the PC.

But, as this is my first WC'd rig, I need help with the setup. (I think I've asked this before, but I can't remember). Is this the best way, or is there a better way?

    Pump > CPU > South bridge > 120.1 rad > GPU > North bridge > 120.2 rad > Res > Pump

I was thinking about changing around the North and South bridges, but the North bridge will get hotter, so having it at the end makes more sense (to me at least). Ideas?

Well, I just got the Christmas present I bought myself.

It's the 8800GT! I didn't have time to install it today, but tomorrow I'll be cleaning off my X1600Pro drivers, pulling that out, putting the 8800GT in, and rockin'. Merry Christmas eh? I'll also finish up a little painting I did, post some pics, and start some more work.

    Till next time,
    .Mal
