Re: You know what I hate?!?

I hate it when people expect sympathy or remorse.
You did this to yourself, you are the cause of your anguish.

    Re: Playing DVDs causes BSOD

It doesn't sound like a physical issue. It sounds to me like your mpeg2 codec might be messed up. Does it crash while in the menus or while it's actually playing?

DOD spec for wiping is 16 pass, not 10.
Wiping a drive & shredding aren't the same.
If you want wiping, lookup DBAN.

  5. Re: What's a good response time for a LCD TV/Monitor?

The lower the better. 5ms is kinda standard. Anything higher can lead to ghosting.

    Absence

Well, as a few of you might have noticed, I haven't been around much.
There are a few reasons for this.
Mostly, I'm focusing on other aspects of my life.
My personal life has had some extreme...

It's freezing rain here. Fun stuff. I hate freezing rain due to the ice storm last year that knocked out my power for 2 weeks.

    Re: Blue Screen

I did a google search on your error code. The error seems to come from nvidia drivers not liking asus boards. Install the latest drivers for your motherboard & see if that fixes your problem.

You shouldn't pay more than 40 bucks for a good, long lasting jigsaw.
Make sure you buy blades designed for metal & not wood for case bashing!

Dust doesn't cause a problem unless it's mixed with smoke or pet hair. Both of those two mixed with high volumes of dust can cause components to overheat or fans to burn out.

Poll: Re: Bandwidth: is it the new measure of a man?
