I was going to say to ensure the power plug (20 or 24 pin) from the power supply to the motherboard was securely attached and that none of the pins are broke.
Hope this helps!

Does anyone here have any first hand knowledge about Black XP having unauthorized ports open? My main question is, how do you know which ports are supposed to be open and how to monitor them.

I have seen this several times... it has always been the video card, (or output in case the video is on board). It is very possible as stated above that there is dust in it and that lets it overheat...
They might let you now, but not long ago, Micro$oft figured that a new motherboard was the ticket to getting a new license. A new HD or more RAM was fine, but once the mobo was replaced, that was...
There is an unofficial patch out for Vista that for gaming applications it keeps it from allocating virtual RAM for video which basically doubles what it needs. In other words if your video card is...
The original diagram does not work because the ground is not universal. The transistor will not allow current to go backwards so it would be ok to connect the ground from the battery to the ground on...
I might draw a poor sketch of something I want to build just to lay out the dimensions - but my best work is done in making the item, not drawing it. If I can see it - I can draw it; if I can draw it...
Dfigravity - you must be a dirt rat!!! That's what I was my first 10 years in the AF and I loved it. Is the PRC-113 the half-quick radio? If it is, I'm pretty sure I had some training on it.

Ground is passed through to all modules from the psu though the various connectors - and as said above just ensure no circuit boards are in contact with anything that can short them out. All should...
I have had real bad luck with Maxtor HD's - I would recommend Western Digital or damn near any other brand except Maxtor.

Have you considered Bluetooth capabilities? I've seen some wireless mouse/keyboard combos that were bluetooth.
Might work for you.
One + four + one + four does not equal eight - it equals ten
I think you meant to say: one + two + one + four = eight
which logically would make: one + two + one + four + one + eight = seventeen...
I agree with Minty and xcom - ME sucked!!! I'd say it's on a level with AOHell

I am a big fan of horror/terror movies...
Saw
Saw II
Texas Chainsaw Massacres
Wrong turn
The Hills have eyes I and II
Sorry to disagree but I thought House of 1000 corpses was about the worst...
Well... did anything work????
If you have the right chipset, you can try Ctrl - Alt - Rt arrow. If you have the correct (intel) chipset it will turn for you.
Ctrl - Alt - down arrow turns it up side down. Ctrl - Alt - up arrow...
You might try disconnecting the 5 port switch and go directly to the wireless router (which should also have wired outputs) and see if that helps matters any. This could eliminate several problems or...
the key to soldering is to get the area you are attaching wire to hot at the same time as the wire. In other words, let's say you are soldering a wire into a hole on a circuit board... ensure that...
Ususally freezing is a result of faulty software, mostly drivers. Too much heat causes it to shut off or restart usually. The temps you are experiencing are a little high, but not enough to worry too...
LOL, great find + rep
Which private companies are looking into using it? Would like to see AMD get on the band wagon and back in the lead over Intel!!!!
Can't suggest anymore, everybody has already had some great ideas. But what I can do is congratulate you on a fantastic mod idea! This is probably the most awesome and ambitious mod idea I've seen!...
Also have a pen and paper handy because they run off a bunch of numbers and letters to put into the activation screen and if you mess one up, it's a real pain, other than that the process is pretty...
Drumthumper, I had also thought of something along those lines, but I have a vintage Rogers kit that I do not want to ruin. What I had in mind was to get an inexpensive Pearl or Gretsch kit and do...
