Well, Today I ordered all the bits for my new computer, and with me nearing the end of my 7" LCD mod, I'm preparing to turn Project: Tribal Fusion into my first full blown case mod!

Parts I have just purchased:

Grand Total: £794.31 ($1591.24) (Inc Delivery which was stoopidly high on some sites :( )

So, now your thinking, "But Ali, you've spent all this money on an amazing system, what on earth are you going to do to it?". Well I'll tell yee, it all started when i was looking for a heat sink for this amazing system and i ran across the one listed above, which for those that don't know looks like this:

Seeing as most other components I purchased were also surprisingly black... I thought hey... why not. My basic ideas for this mod is of visual perfection, something that appeals to the eye but does not rely purely on eye candy. The color theme black and green is my main source of inspiration and the words "Tribal Fusion".

Contradictory to my precision of perfection, I often have very unclear end goals, so as of yet have absolutely no idea what I expect to come out at the end. Its very experimental but will offer key insights into new skills I will learn, the aspects of design I do and do not like and ultimately offer a huge amount of fun and satisfaction through the entire project.

Right now I bet your thinking... "jeez your a wordy bastard, just show me the pictures!". Well, i know I am... anyway, I hope this little intro has enticed you to keep your eye on this.. I know I will :P I will begin work on some of the designs floating round the mess of a mind I have and get them uploaded asap! :twisted:

I knew I'd heard the term Tribal Fusion before, it's a form of spyware! Anyway, the project looks cool! Can't wait to see...

Hopefully my order from Dabs will arrive later today, if not tomorrow, Ive got some ideas coming to paper soon for the overall design of the case, will get them posted soon!

Didn't realise the cooler was that big, but the colour of the fins is so hawt!

The case looks fantastic!

Already i'm moddin it! taking out any bits that really dont need to be there!

makes it look much cleaner!

My only bad point to this case is the weak plugs that hold teh front bezel on:

Oh and this stoopid bit of metal....

Well, lets hope the rest comes soon, getting damn anxious with the most expensive bits still not here...

Haha! and my Dabs delivery comes through just an hour later!

Bad news today chaps :( In the process of moving my 320gb drive to the new system, I went to install xp to the C:\ partition, but there was only a 131gb partition there... i was like wtf! :mad: anyway, ive lost all teh contents of the other partitions (Music/pictures/school work etc) God damn im kicking myself for not backing any of it up! anyway, ive decided to put Project: Tribal Fusion on hold for a bit till I can get my work sorted out and all the necessary programs and apps back up and running.

Dont be afraid of posting your continued support! i need a moral boost heh. Ill be out of the scene for just a week or so, but i promise once im back it will be better than ever! best of luck to all your mods too!

(PS. the system itself roxxes teh soxxes, cant wait to get some imba fps action goin xD )
