XLostSpartanX's First PC case mod.
Hi, Ive been modding xbox'x for around a year now, so Dremeling, Airbrushing, and soldering(if neded) isnt anything new.
This will be my first PC case mod so im needing some help. What I am going to be doing is getting a case, modding it to my liking, then installing my current PC in it. After I install my PC in it, I will install lights, but Im nto doign any upgrading or water-cooling to my PC.
Im just want to make sure that this is all that Im going to need to do this project.
- Case (see below)
- Airbrush and paint
- Dremel with different tips
- Lexan/Plexi glass
- Soldering Iron with solder
- Various Lights and Fans
- Bondo and Spot putty
- PC internals
- Time
Im having trouble deciding which case im going to buy, here are my options:
Ill update again once all my materials get in.
Thanks,
Nick

Yup. #5 is the winner. A friend just picked one up, and man alive - it is a great case, especially if you're going to do any modding.

i agree with ranken, plus its cheap. though i do not happen to have a friend who recently bought one...:(

I agree - number 5. Its a nice plain case - a blank canvas, ive bought fancy cases before with the idea to mod them but to be honest all that fancy rubbish gets in the way and distracts you. :D Nice clean free of clutter case, nothing to limit your modding mate.

Number 5. All the way.
As for your list of materials, I recomend you pick a theme and begin planning out your mod. Then come back to us with a list of materials and we'll let you know what you need.

numero cinco lost. that's number 5 for all the people who don't know spanish. instead of bondoing real thick just use fiberglass. it itches reallly bad but it's a lot stronger if you do it right. that's what i'm using on mine.
