Is this a good brand? Never heard of it before. And if so I would buy it but the LEDs wouldn't work for what I want.

I've been using a Kingwin 1000-watt (their Mach 1 series) for a couple of years now with no problem at all, and have the 800-watt version in my HTPC, also with no issues.

late reply, but I have this exact PSU, and the first one I got was dead as a doornail, but got another through newegg and it works like a champ. This PSU you have a good chance of getting a great PSU, or one that doesn't work at all. haha

You can shut the LEDs off on the fan, btw. It has a switch on the back that goes from blue, white, to off.
