Re: Will this setup work?
I'd imagine it would be able to, although I don't really have any experience with liquid cooling yet.
Re: Will this setup work?
yea I think so too but im just a bit worried I might have to add another pump or something
Re: Will this setup work?
Why fork out for the Aquagate? You can use that cash to get yourself a 240mm radiator, a nice pump and a res for better performance. Probably cost ya a little bit more.
Re: Will this setup work?
your putting to much into that loop, either go with 2 or skip the useless stuff like memory and hard drive cooling, they don 't need it. if your that worried then get heatsinks and fans for them.
here is a setup that would work very good with all that you want, minus the chipsets, hard drives and ram.
2x Swiftech MCW60 VGA cooler = 36.90
1x Swiftech MCP655 Pump = 69.99
1x D-tek FuZion = 49.95
1x Swiftech MCR 320 rad 53.95
1x Swiftech MicroRes = 16.99
1x Swiftech HydrX = 2.99
10x ClearFLEX 60 Tubing 1/2" ID / 3/4" OD = 8.90
3x YATE LOON 120mm Case Fan = 9.45
total = $286.06
Re: Will this setup work?
That is a good system. Spawn swears by Swiftech stuff. The radiators are good but if you wanted to save money you could get an Alphacool NexXxos or maybe a HWLabs Black Ice, they perform quite well. Also I'm not a huge fan of the micro res, I would get a nice Danger Den drive bay res, more coolant, will help with temps.
Re: Will this setup work?
I agree with tb4o on the res, wow that cuts my price in half thanks Plus they ship to canada!
Re: Will this setup work?
yup, and i really should invest in water cooling and stop reading about it :). once work picks up i think i will upgrade to it.
and ya jabtech is nice enough to have good prices with shipping to canada!
and i should point out there is a second version of the Dtek Fusion block but its 20 more.
Dtek Fusion V2 63.95
and if you go with the older one its actually 49.99, i guess i should update my list:redface:
Re: Will this setup work?
i noticed the only difference between a 24 rad and a 320 rad is $10
Re: Will this setup work?
IF you have the room go for a 320mm rad. The difference between the D-Tek blocks is $10? I Australia they cost the same lol, $79.00.
