Making my own side window...
Soooo i've been looking around more and reading lots of worklogs and such, and i think i wanna try and make my own window for my side panel!
I totally have the will for this, but as the way, i'm stuck...
I'm pretty sure i have the necessary tools (Dremel with disk cutter, various sanding and polishing equipment) but i don't exactly know where to get my hands on some nice, clean acrylic! there aren't many specialty stores in this town... :(
So if someone could hook me up with a nice site for ordering some nice acrylic, as well as a few ideas of how to make my window, I'd be really grateful!!
Thanks :)
I'll add a few pics of what i wanna do with that I have in mind...
my fan spacing template.... old, loud, boring fan that i dremeled out
My garage!!! i don't usually go in here but i was wandering around looking for stuff to use and i stumbled over loootss of goodies....
...Such as this acrylic sheet!! I was really excited when i fell on top of this :) it's all blurry and hard to see through cause of this protective clear film over it..
I also came across a BRAND-NEW never-opened soldering gun, a larger, more powerful dremel, and a scroll saw, though i don't think i'll use it for much, other than cutting out my window... I don't know why my step dad hides these things from me... but oh well :P
Re: Making my own side window...
estreetplastics.com has an excellent selection of acrylic, in smaller pieces than you can find elsewhere also. I've ordered from them a couple of times and have been VERY satisfied with the product.

when in doubt, check the wiki "list of suppliers". If you find one that isn't on the list, add it for others.
