Funny screen shot taken from a forum of a guy who decided to cut off the back half of his PCI-E bus on his 7800gt to make it fit in a PCI slot is asking why his card won't work.

My favourite part "so that it fit in the 1 slot things", says all there is to know about that dude. I would like to know on what forums it was posted.
That's fantastically funny. I'm glad our noobs aren't that bad.
I think that's beyond being a noob, that's like being arrogant, no respect or knowledge of technology, no common sense, no brains basically. Plain stupid.
Good thing he's asking questions. He just has the procedure wrong. It's ask then cut. Not cut then ask.
Bravo, that was an exceptionally expensive mistake. If your gonna screw up I guess, go big or go home.
:Bonk: That was very dumb. I've broken expensive things before, but I've always known beforehand that I might do that. I haven't thought, 'let me cut this expensive thing, that will make it work better guaranteed."
Probably the same guy that would buy 184 pin ddr400 and cut it in half so it fits in his laptop, or snip one pin off a Socket 940 processor and wonder why it doesn't work in a 939 board.
