66? it was 38ºF here last night lol
heck with that. I live in the desert for a reason!
(that reason is I'm a weenie when it comes to being cold)
My wife told me last night that they're expecting snow this week in her hometown in North-west PA
The past three days have been very chilly in the morning. My commute has now lengthened to about 45 minutes at 60mph, and that is COLD on the motorcycle. Today I wore long johns, jeans, t-shirt, polo, thick hooded sweatshirt, textile motorcycle jacket, necker, and thick gloves and I still got a little cold in the 50 degree weather.
Thankfully next week I will have a full leather jacket with heavy quilted liner, and I'm looking to get some thick leather gloves with the 3M gel liner.
Heck yes its freakin cold. Was like 46f here last night. I woke up wrapped in my comforter like a cocoon. Bring back the mid 90's. I love hot weather.
We used the comforter for the first time this season a couple of nights ago. Got down to ~40. I expect it to climb back into the mid to high 80's this weekend.
Datech: I hear ya about the chilly ride. I am going to have to zip the liner into my jacket soon. No more shorts under the riding pants...
I took that ZX-10 I've been borrowing (yes I still have it, going on a month now lol) in this morning. 39ºF, but I only have a 1.5 mile ride to work so it wasnt too bad lol
You dont know what cold is boys. This morning it is STILL 19'F here (-7'C) at 9am. We are expecting snow this week. Typically, we are at -10 to -15'C by mid October. And this is still warmer than where I grew up. :)
...wtf is it doing being 66F in Pheonix?? o_O It just this week got down to about that around DC. I've got a good hour ride ahead of me tonight, so I think I'll also be putting the liner back in my motorcycle jacket...first time I will have actually used the liner since I bought the thing.
