I have a ASROCK mobo that has sound that i use on it. but when i have soeakers pluged in it is so quiet that watching Dvds or playing games on them is kinda pointless. i play call of duty and i can only hear the granades going off near my head. anyone have anyidea of why its doing this. :?
Make sure that the volume in windows is put all the way up, then adjust only using your speakers.
To change in XP: Start > Settings > Control Panel > Sounds, speach and audio devices > Adjust the system volume
try the fix above. also, it might be because sound card is too weak to power speakers
