New Remote Control

I just got a new remote for my computer. Its the RF remote from a XFX TVTunner card. Sadly, i only got the remote and not the tunner card. This is going to replace my Epson remote for many obvious reasons.

The old remote only controls mouse functions and is limited by IR (line of sight). The new remote uses RF to transmit so i'll be able to change music while on the toilet or out on the deck. I have full control over the ForceWare App with the new remote. Play, Pause, Stop, FF & RW, Volume, and so on. The new remote also has a mouse controler built in so i'll still be able to use it for programs that dont support the remote. It has a bunch of functions that i'll still be able to use without the tunner card. It has a photo slide show thing built into the app aswell as 1 button web surfing. Full Music app, DVD/VCD aswell as a DVR.

I plan to stick the reciver inside the case on my current project and connect it to the USB header on the mobo. Undetectable!

This is quite the deal for $18 CAD. What a wonderful new way to control my computer.

P.S. There was another remote at the store (consignment). If anyone wants one of thies remotes for themselfs, PM me and i'll go get it before somone else does. I'll only charge what it costs out of my pocket + shipping. Recipt says $18.08 after tax.

Sorry guys. The other remote was allready sold by the time i got to the store. I frequent that store often so if i see anything like that again, i'll be sure to buy them out. :)
