The Care Bear PC is on its last leg and instead of building a new one, I bought it. I got an HP Slimline with:

Athlon 64 X2 3800+
1GB RAM
GeForce 6150
DVD-RW
Wireless-G

That's one hell of an Upgrade from their previous Athlon 1800+! Total it cost me $310. They already have a 19 inch LCD so it looks real nice.

Here it is next to Project Interceptor.

Tjhat's a pretty neat looking case and it is quite a small PC. I second the Spongebob idea too!

Didn't think for a moment you would but in my extreme boredom this morning using photoshop to paint a Spongebob computer seemed like an extremely good plan. :D

That is a very nice comp for a kid. It won't slow down on the internet like i suspect your 1800 might've, and it could probably play games pretty well if any of your kids are in to that.

The internet will always load in the same amount of time. a p3 would be as fast as a q6600 g0

Be that as it may, i meant the heavily flash laden internet that i have come to known will be splotchy and angering.

Especially the fun and interactive sites that children go to.

These sites may slow down your actual computer. If that 1800 wasn't operating all the way up to spec and the computer didn't have that much memory (speed probably isn't that high either) theoretically, the "internet would slow down."

There. Now go and mod that spongebob case!
