First off, if this is in the wrong place, (admin's name here) move it plz.
I downloaded GIMPshop the other day and cannot figure out how to use it. I googled it and never really found anything that helps. My main problem is how do i load files? Can someone help? I have not used photoshop before or anything else like it. Help?
GIMPshop was a new one on me, I'll check it out, looks kinda cool.
Might make it a bit more user friendly too.
Good find.
:edit: Maybe this'll help a bit...

Ummm, File > Open ? Is that what you mean? Are you trying to open a file already on your disc, like some sort of image? That's all you do. Instead of File > New, it's File > Open.

I just downloaded Gimpshop 2.2.8 for Windows, or at least I thought I did. When I do help, about it says it's Gimp Background Window 2.1, copyright 2004.
Anyway, I also can't figure out how to load an image because the only thing in the File menu is Exit. Is there something else I need to download?
There are 2 independent windows open called 'The GIMP' and 'Layers, Channels, Paths, Undo...'.
Thanks for any help,
Doug
