Wing Commander-Downloadable Games!

Fellas...

I was surfing in another forum the other day and found a link to a project called Wing Commander Saga....well needless to say I had to check it out. Now I'm probably the last to know about this game, but if not I thought I would share the info with you'all.

WC Saga is a game built with the Freespace 2 engine...looks like Freespace 2 but your shooting Kilrathi instead of whatever we were shooting in Freespace 2. I haven't had a chance to play yet but I took a look at the graphaics and it looks cool.

Also found another game called Standoff...built with the WC-Prophecy engine...you must install the Secret Ops disc to play. It looks cool as well...sort of a cross between WC Prophecy, Privateer and WC for Nintendo!

Are these standalone games or are they mods? :P
If its a freespace2 mod I dont have freespace 2! :(

Standoff required that you install Prophecy-Secret ops...but Saga is stand alone...no Freespace 2 needed.

Works really great if you have an old Thrustmaster joystick.
