Hi Guys:
I have been interested in making a Plasma Ball PC on and off over the years but have never really thought about doing it until a few weeks ago. Before jumping in, I tried to do a little research but only found a few cases of people really doing it and even then, most did not put the ball into the front of the case. Either the side, or top. I wanted mine to be a bit different - Right in the front for the WOW Factor...
Some people have said this could case damage to the PC itself. I don't think so from the tests I have done so far. And with that said, I would like to think that by placing the ball in the front, it keeps it away from the motherboard and CPU. The PCB which controls the ball sits in a thick plastic case itself so all being well, it should be OK.
Rather that post all the pictures here, you can visit the following page to check them all out. Look forward to your comments! :) [ Click Here To View (http://www.ipalien.com/plasmaballpc/) ]
