I would like some recommendations on a liquid cooling system that works well but doesn't cost more than $200. I was looking at the KINGWIN AWC-1 for about $100. I have read good reviews on it, and it sounds like a good one for the money but I would like to know if there are better ones that won't cost more than $200. Since you guys are good at modding I thought you guys must know some things about liquid cooling.

Thanks :)

you can get a real setup at danger den for under 200 that'll work way better than any kit.

^^^ dont get that, it's not any good.

you need a:
pump
cpu block
gpu block(dont need but for videocards)
radiator
tubing
anti freeze.

all this can be found at www.dangerden.com

post script: sorry jrabbitb i would only recomend that if someone wanted a completely silent system.

Okay I got a set-up for a liquid cooling but I don't know if it's any good. Here's what I got:

CPU Block: Danger Den TDX (AMD 64 Sckt 939)
GPU Block: Acetal MAZE4 GPU (X850XT)
Radiator: Black Ice Micro II (Will a Black Ice Xtreme work with a 80 MM Fan?)
Pump: Danger Den 12V CSP-MAG
Tubing: 7 feet Blue UV 1/2''
Anti Freeze: My dad has some Liquid Koolance, would that work?

Total: $193.43

Is this a good set-up and is a reservoir needed?

If you're talking about noise, the Zalman is silent.

If you're talking about heat, the Zalman is pretty cool, too.

i know a guy with the reserator, the only problem is transporting his PC.

a res isn't needed, but with barbs and some PVC, you can make your own res, or you can make your own out of plexi.

its looks like the pro 2 only works with 120mm, but that micro i hear is pretty good too.

And no a resevior is not needed, but it makes it easier to get air out of the loop.
