CD cases? The one on the left is bob marley and a lion. The one on the right is VW something . . . probably a band symbol or something. I'm guessing CD cases or fine Canadian weed.

I knew i should have taken a picture to reference size.. they are smaller in diameter than a chew or snuff can but about 1.5 times thicker and one internal and two external o rings

judging by the bob marley thing on one of them, I'm assuming its something that will cause this thread to be closed by a mod fairly soon :whistler:

They are novuses. They are used to hold axles, bearings, hub stacks, axle nuts, string, friction stickers and just about anything else yo yo related. You are all getting rep for guessing grats.

I'm curious, what's the black and white logo? It looks kinda like a multi-banded swastika with a VW logo in the middle.

KDF before it became volkswagen. Although many people believe it to be a swastika most facts point to no.

I thought it was the Greeks, but apparently before them it was a bunch of eastern religions. Used to stand for equality.

I thought it was like the Chinese symbol for the sun or something....

Hmm, reading through the article I may be wrong about the equality thing..might not though, it has meant many different things to many different cultures. It is especially prolific in eastern cultures, which has caused some problems in recent years with some imported products (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swastika#Controversies_over_Asian_products). It really is a shame that its symbolism has been so perverted in western culture by the Nazi movements.

Google the difference between a swastika and a manji. Enlighten yourselves.

Google the difference between a swastika and a manji. Enlighten yourselves.

A Swastika is called a manji (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swastika#Other_Asian_traditions) in Japanese. A reverse swastika is called a gyaku manji (ie, reverse manji). There isn't any difference in the symbol itself, merely what it symbolizes in each culture.
