Windows Internet connection sharing.

Does anyone here know anything about windows Internet connection sharing (ICS)

My PC doesn't have wifi and I hate stretching Ethernet cables across the house to connect to the net every once in a while. So what I want to do is connect the PC to my laptop's Ethernet port and share the built in wifi.

I tried to follow a couple of tutorials I found via google but couldn't get it working. My laptop (the host) is running windows XP and the PC is running windows 7.

Wierd, Got it working when I loaded Ubuntu on my Desktop. Maybe its something wierd w/ windows 7.

Maybe, I normally bridge the connections on the laptop. Although that can be problematique if you want to be on there for a while.
