Office Depot now has a program where they connect you to their network and clean out all the junk files on your system. They then install McAfee and give you 1 year of service. The program that they use to clean out all the crap is justly called: Decrapifier. I played with it and it seems to work pretty well and is Free for personal use.
Try it (http://www.pcdecrapifier.com/download)

My friend knows the guy who wrote that program. He used an older, different version for dell computers, the Dell De-Crapifier (http://www.yorkspace.com/2006/04/38)

My dad used this once, it ended up crappifying his computer and he had to restore to an earlier date

The point of it is to use it when you get a new computer, to get all of the bloatware off of it. If you don't tell it to remove something useful that you do want, then it might do more harm than good.
now if they could only make a version of this for my pants...
