That tiger direct deal is no longer available. What is your total budget and what do you do with your rig?

Antec PSU will work great. I use them in all my computers. Nothing but the best from them and also I've never had one die.

I'm not a fan of the 8800GTS because my 8800GT out preforms it. But thats me.

For your power supply, I am running a Sigma Shark 585-watt PSU:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817226001

I love it, has plenty of amperage, LOTS of connectors (all sleeved very nicely), runs very quietly and looks good (other than the annoying blue LED's, which I plan to eliminate soon). Seems like a very good buy at $80. They also have a 635-watt version of the same PSU for $100. I'm currently running an Athlon 64FX-62, 2 gb DDR2 800, 8800GT, 2 IDE optical drives, 2 SATA hard drives, 2 80mm fans and a 250mm fan, no problems whatsoever, I would recommend this PSU (or its big brother) to anyone.

Good luck with your build!

Ultra is a semi-unknown brand with Newegg not carrying any of their products and all, but IMO they make very decent power supplies (and products in general). I have an Ultra PSU here that I turned into a test PSU and I've shorted it multiple times causing it to shut itself off, I used it to make a homemade electrolysis "machine", and I've started multiple PCs using it. I've been extremely surprised by it's ability to not die when I should be killing it. The fact that I've shorted it so many times and it still works is reason enough for me to buy from them again.

Just my $0.02 though.

As far as OC'ing goes, DFI has made some of the best since the days of 939. I like the second board more than the first (mostly cause it looks cooler :D). Otherwise, the XFX 680i you linked would be another good choice. I have an EVGA 680i right now with XFX BIOS and it OC's great.

Speaking of which, I might want to update those. I think they're still P31.

I would go with a 512mb 8800GT or G92 512mb 8800GTS, not the evga 8800GTS SSC. Yes it is G92, it was the first G92 if I am not mistaken, as I was on the waiting list for that quite a while before the GT came out.

Its a great card, but does run pretty hot from what I have read (I didn't end up getting it). The other issue I can see is IF you do decide to go SLI down the road you may be hard strapped to find a perfect match down the road. In this case you would be better off going with one of the mentioned above, instead of a one off type card like the SSC from evga.

Nice case. Big inside. Good venting. Good fans included. 3 5.25" bays six 3.5" bays. Very moddable. PSU is perfectly fine. Get yourself an IMON front panel next for that extra 5.25 bay :D
