So I listened to Paul Potts win Britian's Got Talent with "Nessun Dorma", which has to be one of the most amazing songs ever. I bought his album and have been looking into other Opera/Vocal singers too. I had absolutely no idea that there was some HOT women like Hayley Westenra -

And Sarah Brightman -

And yes I did find a lot more great songs, such as:

Canto della terra
Ave Maria
Madama Butterfly, Act II, Un bel d* vedremo
Rigoletto, Act III, La donna é mobile
Gianni Schicchi, O mio babbino caro

I guess this means I'm OLD now.

Or a serial killer.

Edit:
Having re-read the OP, I see you were watching Britain's got talent. I didn't see that, but you may be interested to see the X Factor (http://www.xfactor.tv/), UK equivalent of American Idol. second place last year went to a classically trained opera-style singer by the name of Rhydian (http://www.xfactor.tv/talent/rhydianroberts):

I went to see Phantom of the Opera the first time it went on tour. I don't remember the year but if I remember right, it was about 20 years ago. I've listened to opera occasionally ever since.

Sarah Brightman.. mega hottie! Awesome as Christine in The Phantom of The Opera. Check out The 3 Tenors. Excellent stuff there. Carmen is another good one as well as Sampson and Delilah. And you're right, Nessun Dorma is nothing short of orgasmic. I'll see if I can dig up some others.

The tenors are good, but I don't like three guys singing at the same time. It feels washed out.

my favorite opera-style song: Caruso by Luciano Pavarotti. I think it's just thrilling, you can feel the drama in the song. Even though I don't exactly know what it is about...

It's not music I listen to every day, but I can deeply respect the artists because of their extreme capabilities.
