Wow !

I never seen pictures of a spaceship ! Cool ! They look unrealistic, in a way. Like, the lighting is so different up there.

BTW I am afraid of space. It scares me.

Thats ok.. its natural, being that we cannot really live in space without relying on alot of equipment. Not to mention that all said equipment was built by the lowest bidder. :D

The pics are incredible, I would be scared myself, but don't think I could pass up the opportunity if it were offered. Talk about the trip of a lifetime!

Hehe.. having no atmostphere in the way makes for some pretty sharp pics!

That being said, I've heard that the difference in light up there (compared to on earth) is absolutely amazing. Something like 40-50% brighter, and almost no loss of detail over distances (due to haze, etc).

2nd pic is incredible.. look at the contrast!

3rd pic is very nice depth of field, really isolates the astronaut, but still shows just how much gold foil there is up there. :D

Just kick ass how far we've come... in only a few short years in comparison to how long we've been around.

Contrary to popular belief, not all contracts are awarded to the lowest bidder. Also, during the course of construction, the company building said project usually applies for extra funds for things like safety improvements and such. I worked at McDonnell Douglas for years and saw this all the time.

That said, I was hoping that when I was young that we would be farther along than we are. I was hoping to be part of the crew installing the electronics on the moon base. I am still hopeful, but know it won't happen in my lifetime.

Those are amazingly clear! How many MP's of a camera do you think NASA uses? +Rep for sure.
