Hello folks,

Just for your info, the Teamspeak server is up and running and all are welcome to use it at your will (sort of). Thing of it is, despite that the settings claim an annonymous person can register themselves it doesn't seem to work that way. So if you would like an account set up just drop one of us a note and we'll getcha fixed up one. Until we figure why you can't do it from your end we'll have to open your account, but at some point (hopefully) it'll be accessable to anyone. In the future we can use it for BF2 when we get that going. Cheers!

What you do, is you set up a general "Server password" so that some random shmuck cant just join.

When people join, they join as anon, but put in the server pass.

From that point an admin highlights the unregistered user, press "Players" from the menu, and allows the user to register.

the user then selects "Self" from the menu, registers his name and password.

From then on the user will use his registered name and pass to log in for the server to recogonize that he is registered. :P

I noticed that a guest logged on the other night that I didn't set an account up for, if you are reading this let me know if you had to do anything in particular to log on. Maybe it is open to unregistered guests after all and if that's the case then you can just jump on without our help. That would be good.

oh damn, I was hoping someone figured out how to login without a preset account. Oh well, it's no bother to set them up if anyone wants one.

Let me check the server Jon, I think I restricted the access until the new site went live. I will check today after my staff meeting (I am presenting info for moving to a new building!).

Right now I removed the server password so anyone can join. If you would like a personal account PM Jon or I and we can hook ya up...

Figured I would post an update and not just an edit;

The Team Speak server is up and there is currently no password. If we get any unruly behavior I will lock it back down and only take registration requests from TBCS members. If you login and no-one is around, PM Jon or I and we will hook you up with your own personal account.
