You can have like 10 poll options, so I would assume have 1 option for each continent (though anarctica isn't needed), and then you'd still have space left over for special options such as the UK. And in that case, you could also divide up more common options, such as the U.S. and Canada.

Is this information is being gathered for some kind of marketing campaign?

If so, then it looks a bit random and amateurish. It will not really help any marketeer decide to invest their budget - because it is not solid enough or deep enough an analysis for them to show their bosses and justify spend.

If that is the purpose, proper analysis of your website statistics will provide a deeper and richer picture that not only includes members able to vote but also the thousands of visitors the site gets every week who can not vote. This kind of analysis will involve the use of site log analysis software and if you want to avoid paying for some I'd suggest using trial versions to do a one off analysis.

Approaching marketeers for ad spend is a tricky business and if done unprofessionally you will spoil your pitch for a while to come and throw opportunities away.
