Haha yeah, there's a ~14 page thread on Jon's shenanigans already. I imagine this one goes with the Franky Furtive Forum as well, and if you donate to the forums, you'll get access to that forum. Apparently the password is in the other thread, but I have no idea where it is.
And I think it's more figurative language than anything. I doubt Paul will actually roll some dice ;).

lol yea i knew about the 14 page thread, i just never realized the counter until now:)
The die is cast is a metaphor for there is no going back. IMO, something is going to happen on that date, something big, and there is no going back.
Historical note: Ceasar said "The die is cast" when he crossed the Rubicon river, invading Italy, and effectively declaring war.
Edit: Oh that's nice! The rest of the "Omnes una manet nox..." line is "Et calcanda semel via leti." which translates to:
and the way of death must be trodden once.
If there's TBCS kool-aid on the 1st, I'm not drinking it. :p

No. Only answers.
and 'the die is cast' is NOT referring to dice. It is referring to the process of moulding parts. The die is the part which forms the material. So what it is saying is 'it is done. it cannot be changed'
