New mod and some questions

Ok guys, im going to be starting my new mod soon but I need some suggestions. Im going to be doing a sleek, clean, compact mod. I plan to powder coat the case semi flat black and have smoked plexi for the side panel. I dont know what color for the light though. I am tired of blue and red never looks red, so I was thinking green. I dont know how this would look though the smoked plexi though. Do you think it would turn out looking like crap though the smoked plexi?

Ill try to get a design up asap.

look over at TO's Tribal Overkill (http://www.thebestcasescenario.com/forum/showthread.php?t=745&page=101). He has a smoked acrylic window and with the UV green on the inside it looks completely killer. look at post #1004 to get an idea of how its going to look.

If you have a green LED laying around you could check and see how it would look through smoke plexi yourself. I think it would probably look all right, but I haven't seen it yet.

Yeah, You dont see many white classy mods.

Blue is over done
green is slowly becoming the next blue
red is a bich to get the right colors
black is very basic

I'd like to see someone do a mod that uses the majority of its color as white, then a secondary color being black or silver.

OK this is what i have comeup with so far. I will use smoked plexi and white leds as suggested. I will remake the front bezel and put a peace of 1/4 in smoked plexi behind it, much like the NLM Pc. I will make the front fan grill out of plexi and have a white cover over the drive bays and the PSU
